Actress/comedienne Roseanne Barr proved herself in a big way this week after fighting back against one ABC Network executive who insisted that she do away with the Trump themes on her show. Barr made it clear that the Conservatives of America will not be controlled by the media.
ABC president Channing Dungey put himself on the bad sides of millions of Americans when he stupidly stated, “I think that they’re going to stay on the path that they were on towards the end of last season, which is away from politics and towards family.”
Basically, Dungey is saying that there will be no more pro-Trump themed episodes or positive comments on how the Trump administration is doing in the White House.
Obviously Roseanne wasn’t going to sit back and let everything she’s worked for fall by the wayside, so naturally she decided to do something about it.
After the President of ABC made the comment about straying away from politics, Barr decided to release her own statement on the matter. She promised that the sitcom would be “even braver” next season.
The legendary actress tweeted out: “Don’t worry, #Roseanne show fans-next season will be even braver/funnier/timely than this season, despite what anyone mistakenly says.”

Breitbart News reported:
The show has enjoyed historically high ratings since its return to the airwaves in March, earning an impressive 27 million viewers on its debut, while also managing to maintain the majority of its audience since then.
Part of the rebooted Roseanne’s success may be attributed to its exploration of prominent issues such as Donald Trump’s election to the presidency, the effects of illegal immigration, and perceived bigotry towards Muslims living in the United States.
Take a look at the Fox News report on how the reboot was doing during the second week of airtime:
Clearly Americans weren’t bothered by the pro-Trump themes. The show is doing just fine in the rating department, so maybe Dungey should take a step back and let the people have what they want, and that is the real Roseanne, not some brainwashed version.
