It has been reported that home improvement store Ace Hardware has reversed their decision to stop running ads on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.” The company announced on Friday that they would be resuming all advertising on the show. A spokesperson for the store told The Wrap last week that Ace would be pulling all of their ads from Laura Ingraham’s show after Parkland student turned anti-Second Amendment activist David Hogg called for all of his followers to protest any company that runs ads on Ingraham’s show.
However, on Friday it was confirmed with The Hill that Ace Hardware had changed their minds when it comes to pulling ads from the show. They issued an apology for the “incomplete information” that they had released.
An emailed statement was sent out. In the statement, an Ace Hardware spokeswoman explained, “The information we had at the time of the initial request was incomplete and we apologize for that. Advertising on any network or show is in no way an endorsement from Ace of the content contained or spoken within that program. We appreciate the different points of view from our customers, and believe people should be treated with respect and civility. At this time, we have not altered our current media schedule; however, we regularly review our media strategy.”
It was also confirmed by Fox News that Ace Hardware would still be running ads on Ingraham’s show.

The home improvement store is the very first company to rescind their stripping of ads from Ingraham’s show, after over 20 companies who previously ran ads on the show before decided to strip their advertisements from the program all together. Advertisers began falling off once Hogg turned up the heat, calling for a boycott over petty nonsense.
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham felt it was best to issue a public apology to Hogg, but he claimed that her apology wasn’t cutting it, and he won’t be forgiving her. He also demanded that she apologize to everyone that she had hurt.
Breitbart reported, “Ingraham resumed her hosting duties on the Ingraham Angle Monday following a pre-planned one week “Easter Break” with her family. The Ingraham Angle has maintained its ratings since the advertiser boycott, taking the top spot among cable news shows for its time slot with 2.69 million viewers.”
